on creativity,

creativity is like the light,
every subtle and yet bright,
like the water ebbs and flows,
surging into your very soul.

creativity is like the wind,
catching you in the cool sea breeze,
or like a shadow dark and grim,
nagging at you like buzzing bees.

so you say, what is creativity?
i'll say, taking my key,
as a lever to your can of tea,
building castles with the can by the sea.

and you steal my belt and you pin it high,
just to hang up a curtain filled with mites,
upon the front door so they may fly,
scaring the neighbours with their bites!

and with my hanky,
and a cup tied with it,
i could barely make it,
to filter my tea!

so you say, what is creativity?
and i'll tell you, there, THAT'S creativity!
